The Route

The Support and Planning Teams have been hard at work completing the final details of the cycle route.  10 epic stages, covering over 1000 miles, 7 cities, 5 RAF Stations, 3 Army units, 1 Naval Base, 20 Counties and a whole pile of hills.

Rumour that the plans office is buried underneath a sea of 1:50k map sheets are probably true.  However, they've managed to produce a great route that will challenge even the toughest of riders.  Longest stage on the schedule is currently some 115 miles and the last stage from RAFA Northern Region HQ in Leyland to RAF Leeming a 'mere' 87 miles.
