Teesside Park Fundraising

A cold, cold March day in the North-East saw us run another cycling fundraiser, this time at Teesside Park Shopping Centre.  A larger team, with a better footprint and our RAFA marquee smashed out the miles on the turbo trainers despite the freezing temperatures and high winds.

The poor weather kept many of the public at home, but nevertheless, our stand again attracted a great deal of interest.  It was heartening to see so many interested people who genuinely want to help and support both RAFA and the RAF and there is clearly a great sense of pride.

Particular thanks on this occasion to the Manager and Staff of Costa who kept the whole team watered throughout the day and ensured that our caffeine levels were maintained!

Another successful fundraising event producing almost £800 in donations and purchases.
